Support Program for Indie Studios

Program Eligibility and Details

This program is open to indie game studios with core teams of 15 people or fewer.

Spots are limited — we’re selecting a small group of studios.
‍
Available to companies registered in the USA, Mexico, Brazil, and Canada. We’ll expand to other countries in the next few months.
‍
Each studio may manage up to 5 contractors through Mellow Contractor Management for 6 months at $1 per contractor monthly.
‍
You can use Contractor Management to pay distributed teams across 219 countries (excluding Russia and Belarus).
‍
Scout is included free with unlimited use — find contractors and build your private talent pool.
‍
Your 6-month period starts when you create your account, which you can do anytime before May 17, 2026.

We reserve the right to approve or decline applications, or offer alternative arrangements.
‍
This promotion covers Mellow’s Subscription Fee only.
It doesn’t waive or reduce Mellow’s Application Fees (transaction charges) or any fees charged by our payment partners (including payment processing and currency conversion).

Subscription Fee — the monthly charge for Contractor Management access (the CM platform and core service), normally billed per contractor.
‍
Application Fee — a non-refundable, per-transaction charge Mellow may apply when you send payments through the CM platform using Airwallex Payment Services (such as currency conversion or guaranteed exchange rate quotes). It’s calculated as a percentage of the transaction amount (for example, as an added exchange rate spread).

You’ll need to pass KYC/KYB verification to participate. Approval for the program doesn’t guarantee onboarding — onboarding may still be declined if you can’t complete verification checks required by Mellow and our payment partners.
